Raymond Blanc to open show
Raymond Blanc OBE, restaurateur and passionate gardener, will officially open the show at 9am on 5 September. 'I am delighted that Raymond Blanc has agreed to open our flower show for us in its 25th year, as he is a passionate ambassador for how kitchen gardens contribute to the very highest standards of gastronomic achievement,' said Wisley Curator, Matthew Pottage.

The People's Dahlia Competition
Do you have green fingers and a competitive streak? Why not enter the People's Dahlia Competition, taking place on 9 and 10 September. On either day, just bring along a single stem (with single or multiple flowers) of any type of dahlia you have grown, to the Dahlia Marquee by noon.
Your stems will be judged by a panel of experts and places announced at 3pm each day. First, second and third prizes will be awarded each day.
Surrey NAFAS Floral Display
The Surrey area of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) will be exhibiting their stunning floral art creations under the theme ‘SWITCHED ON!’ See how members interpret the nation’s favourite TV programmes and don't miss the 25th anniversary celebration flower display.
Roy Lancaster talk & book signing in the Plant Centre
Tuesday 5 September, 1pm
World-renowned plantsman, former presenter of BBC Gardeners’ World and a Vice President of the RHS Roy Lancaster welcomes his new book, My Life with Plants.
Roy's consummate storytelling, acute sense of life’s comic moments, spirited sense of adventure and respect for the natural world make this a remarkable read. Come and meet Roy in person and get the opportunity to hear some of his funny and interesting anecdotes.

Glasshouse display: Bego-lumbo
An unusual combination of Wisley’s large collection of begonias displayed alongside stunning aquatic Nelumbo (sacred lotus). Our diverse begonias include the bamboo-like cane types, exotic foliage plants and large colourful tuberous varieties. Combined with striking Nelumbo flowers, these will be a sight to behold!
Surrey Sculpture Society Trail and NEW Exotic Garden
Take in the fabulous sculptures from up and coming artists from the Surrey Sculpture Society, and visit the new Exotic Garden, where you will find lush tropical foliage, showy dahlias and a wide range of hardy palms which add a touch of exotica to the landscape.
The centre of the garden is adorned by a pineapple-inspired fountain, bringing the peaceful sound of water to this part of the garden for the first time.

Getting to the show
It's never been easier to visit the RHS Wisley Flower Show, with a FREE shuttle bus from Horsley and Woking stations every day of the show. The shuttle bus is free for all visitors to Wisley – members and non-members. Shuttle bus users do not need to have a train ticket.
All shuttle buses are fully accessible and can take wheelchairs. Please note Horsley station is not a fully wheelchair accessible station. Visitors with special accessibility needs are advised to take the shuttle bus to and from Woking Railway Station. Free shuttle bus to and from Horsley station
Buses leave every 20 minutes* each day and take 15 minutes each way. *Between 1.30pm and 3.30pm buses leave every 30 minutes at .00 and .30 minutes past the hour.
- First bus departs Horsley station at 9.30am.
- Last bus departs Wisley at 5.15pm – note this is 45 minutes before the garden (and show) closes.
Where to board
Horsley: Horsley station forecourt. Wisley: at rear of the Glasshouse near the South African Meadow. Bus stops will be clearly marked, as will the bus.
Free shuttle bus to and from Woking station
Buses will leave every 2 hours.
- First bus departs Woking station at 10.30am.
- Last bus departs Wisley at 5pm.
Where to board
Woking: station forecourt, outside Marks and Spencer. Wisley: Coach Park. Bus stops will be marked. Woking station is a fully wheelchair accessible station.
During Wisley Flower Show the site is very busy and we have a traffic management system in place to ensure that visitors arrive swiftly.
Additional car parks are located away from the main garden entrance but visitors can gain access via the Pinetum entrance.
If you have special accessibility needs and need to park closer to the garden please ensure your disabled badge is clearly displayed.
