Address: Tatton Park, Mereheath Lane, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 6QN

Please note that this information is correct at the time of writing, but is subject to change.

Travel by metrolink

Getting to the show from Greater Manchester couldn’t be easier with Metrolink.

Travel by tram from any Metrolink stop to Altrincham where a free shuttle bus operates to and from the show running every 20 minutes. See below for more information.

Visit the Transport for Greater Manchester website to plan your journey by tram.

Shuttle buses

In addition to the normal ways to travel to us for the Flower Show, we are providing a free shuttle bus. You can pre-book the shuttle bus via this link.

Buses will run throughout the day to and from Altrincham train station, with the first bus departing Altrincham station at 9.30am and the last bus departing from Tatton Park at 5.30pm. The bus stop at Tatton Park is by the Mansion House entrance.

There will also be a mini bus service from The Knutsford Gate to the show entrance.

Cycle racks are located at both entrances to the show

Travel by train

Trains run between Manchester Piccadilly and Knutsford stations (journey time approximately 40 minutes). Knutsford station is a 10-minute walk from the Knutsford Gate entrance of the Tatton Park estate.

For full details on all regional train services (including information for disabled visitors), go to the TFGM website or visit the National Rail website.

Travel by car

Routes to the show are signposted on all major roads in the area. Due to changes associated with the newly opened A556 your route to the show may be different this year. Please follow the yellow and black show signs and not your satnav as this will minimise delays entering and exiting the show. Please allow adequate time for your journey as, while we endeavour to keep traffic free-flowing, situations beyond our control may cause delays.

The drop-off point for cars and taxis is the Rostherne Gate.

There is ample parking within the grounds of Tatton Park, free of charge. You will be directed to an appropriate car park on arrival. All car parks are open from 8am, and close one hour after the show closes.

Parking on the roads around the showground is strictly prohibited.

Coach parking

The coach park is clearly signposted from the A556, and is free of charge.

Food & drink

Food & drink

There is a selection of food and drink outlets around the showground or bookable picnic feasts from Fortnum & Mason.

Drinking water will be available to purchase across the showground. Free water points are also available and are marked on the map with a tap symbol.

Useful information

This is a temporary, outdoor event on open parkland and is subject to varying weather and ground conditions. Although some temporary trackway is laid, much of the event is staged on open ground and care must be taken. We therefore advise that you check the weather forecast for the day of your visit, consider the nature of the event and the effects of any inclement weather on surface conditions, and wear suitable clothing and footwear. In extreme weather conditions, access may be restricted in the interest of safety.

Visitors may be subject to random security searches.

Show guides

The RHS Flower Show Tatton Park show guide provides show information, complete exhibitor listings, highlights and a fully illustrated guide to the Show Gardens and Show Features. The guide also contains a detailed map of the showground.

Show guides are available to purchase in advance with your tickets for £5 plus £2.50 delivery (posting is only available within the UK). Alternatively you can buy a guide on the day for £7.

Pet dogs are permitted at this show, limited to one dog per booking. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and will not be permitted into any of the indoor restaurant areas. Please be a responsible dog owner and clean up after your pet using the bins provided.

Children's entertainment

Each paying adult can bring two children aged under 5 free of charge - no ticket required. Child rates available for children aged 5 to 16 years.

ATMs and bank facilities

Transactions will be cashless where possible.

ATMs are available for withdrawing cash with debit cards. There is a small charge for this service.

RHS Gardening Advice

The RHS Gardening Advice stands are manned by our team of experts who give advice to visitors at all our shows on a host of subjects. At the RHS we are committed to protecting plant health and ask that visitors bring photographs of their plant problems to our shows rather than live plant material. This applies when visiting the RHS Gardening Advice stands or exhibitors in the floral marquees and will help to safeguard all the plants at the shows.

Lost property

Lost property is located at Visitor Information near the Deer Park entrance.

Unclaimed items are kept for one month before being donated to local charities.
Contact Shows Customer Care for more information.

Shop and drop

Please check details closer to the date of your visit. We will be sending out fuller information to help you plan your day.

A bandstand is located near one of the food courts at the show, musicians will be playing throughout each day.
