RHS Chelsea Flower Show is located in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea with the Chelsea Embankment and River Thames to the South and Royal Hospital Road to the North.

The show and car parks are not in the London Congestion Zone, but they are in the Ultra Low Emission Zone.


Car parking

There is limited parking which should be booked in advance by calling 0800 640 5001. Accessible parking can only be booked over the phone. The accessible parking is located at Burton Court (SW3 4SR), 0.1mi from the show.

Parking is also available at Battersea Park (SW11 4BY), 0.9mi from the show. There is also an accessible mobility bus, which drops off and picks up from the Bull Ring Gate Entrance on Chelsea Bridge Road (SW1W 8PS) which then returns to Battersea Park car park.

 

The closest underground station is Sloane Square station 0.3mi from the show and there is a taxi rank outside the station. The closest train station is Victoria station 0.9mi from the show. There is a taxi rank, bus stops and a dedicated shuttle bus to the show outside the station.

You can catch bus numbers 11, 137, 211, 360, 170, 44 and 452 which stop closest to the showground, while bus numbers 19, 22, 319 and C1 stop at Sloane Square. However, please note the 360 bus will not be stopping at bus stop ‘CH’ at the Bull Ring Gate Entrance, Chelsea Embankment. This bus stop is suspended during RHS Chelsea Flower Show week. Taxis can drop off and pick up at the Bull Ring Gate Entrance of the show located on the Chelsea Embankment (SW3 4LW).

This is a permanent showground with many hard-floored areas, but some exhibits are located in grassed areas where ground conditions are not always ideal. All marquees, gardens and floral exhibits are accessible and can be viewed from ground level. None of the gardens are designed for public access. Where possible, gardens and tradestands are fronted by hard-surface pavement, road or trackway. The areas around the gardens are often busy, so visitors with a disability may wish to consider arriving early or late in the day to avoid peak times.

The Ranelagh Restaurant, Champagne & Seafood Restaurant and The Drawing Room are all located North of Ranelagh Gardens. They are all accessible for wheelchair users. The Rock Bank Café is located at the southern end of Main Avenue and is accessible by wheelchair. Thames View Café is located to the East of Southern Road and is not accessible by wheelchair as it is only accessible by stairs. Visitors who cannot access Thames View Food Court can find similar menus at the Rock Bank and Ranelagh Food Courts. 

Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas.

While the RHS is not able to provide carers, entry is provided for one carer free of charge accompanying those visitors whose disability necessitates their support. This ticket must be requested at the time of ticket purchase. 

There is limited capacity at this show and all tickets, including carers, are subject to availability.

Visitors are welcome to bring their own mobility vehicles but should be aware that the show can become congested at peak times. We do not hire Mobility scooters at this show due to the nature of the environment.

There are a limited number of wheelchairs for hire. These must be hired in advance online with your tickets or by calling 0800 640 5001. A £20 fee applies. The wheelchair collection points are located by the Ticket Office at the Royal Hospital Road Entrance and at Visitor Information by the Bullring Gate Entrance.

Accessible unisex toilets are located at Burton Court and Battersea Park parking areas and several other locations around the show including near the entrances. Locations of toilets are clearly listed on the large maps around the show. There is a unisex high-dependency unit located on the tennis courts which is located near the North Ranelagh visitor information tent. This includes an emergency call alarm, support handrails for ease of movement, low-level access, V5 duo hoist, Seers Medical 2 hydraulic bed, modesty curtain, sensor tap and sanitary bins. This is operated under a RADAR door system, we recommend visitors bring their own key in order to gain access.

• Thames View Café is located to the East of Southern Road and is not accessible by wheelchair as it is only accessible by stairs. The nearest toilets are no more than 100m away along Western Avenue. Subject to availability, visitors who cannot access Thames View Food Court can find similar menus at the Rock Bank and Ranelagh Food Courts.
