In my spare time I tend two allotments so have been come to be known as the fruit and veg man at Hyde Hall
I have been working as horticulturist at RHS Hyde Hall for five years now and am part of the Hilltop team. We look after the older, more formal parts of the garden including the rose garden, dry garden, herbaceous border, woodland and Robinson’s gardens. I first came to Hyde Hall as a trainee in 2008/09 but came back full time after completing my horticulture degree at Writtle College. I also oversee the vegetable plots and this is my favourite part of the job, so I will be mostly blogging about all things grow your own. In my spare time I tend two allotments so have been come to be known as the fruit and veg man at Hyde Hall.
