Children love gardening. It’s an activity full of wonder, creativity, and the joy of getting a bit messy. Sadly, not every child has access to a garden, or people in their life with horticultural skills. 
 
The RHS Campaign for School Gardening is working to change this, by bringing gardening directly into schools and youth groups across the country. Over 30,800 schools and groups are already receiving support, equating to 2.1 million children, and with your help we can reach even more.

Gardening in schools can boost children’s physical and mental wellbeing. It enhances children’s literacy, numeracy and science learning, and helps teachers to bring innovation and creativity into their lessons. Pupils learn to work towards common goals, to practice patience and care, and find satisfaction through achievement.

Your support will help provide free resources and training to primary and secondary school teachers, get children involved in our School Gardening Awards scheme, and bring the natural world to life for a new generation.
